The Board of secondary Education, ODISHA has issued a notification regarding changes in the assessment pattern for HSC Course in Class IX & X to be implemented from the academic session 2023-24 and onwards.
On 23rd May 2023 the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha issued an official notification regarding the changes in examination pattern of class IX and X. Below are few important takeaways from the official notice
Changes in the Examination Pattern
- There will be four Formative Assessments, in a year (one in each quarter ).
- One Summative Examination will be conducted at the year end.
- The Summative Exam will consist of 100 marks in each subject, out of which 50 marks will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and rest 50 marks will be subjective in nature
- The pattern of questions with distribution of marks for the examinations will be notified soon.
- The board will prepare the year end examination paper of class IX and half yearly examination of class X. However the processing and publication of results will be done at school level.
